In Friday’s double-header against Combine Academy (Lincolnton, NC) it was a heartbreaker for Farragut as they lost the lead late in the first game for a 5-3 defeat. The game was tied at two with Combine Academy batting in the top of the seventh when Aiden Paradine singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Stratton Scott started on the mound for Farragut. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out two and walking one. Jett Johnston took the loss. The righty lasted two and a third innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out one. 

Tight Game Between Farragut Admirals Varsity And Combine Academy Ends In A Tie

Combine Academy tied the game on a double in the sixth inning as Farragut Admirals Varsity tied Combine Academy 3-3 on Friday.

In the second inning, Combine Academy got their offense started when Justin Smith’s sac fly scored one run for Combine Academy.

Combine Academy knotted the game up at three in the top of the sixth inning. #9 drove in one when #9 doubled.

Farragut Admirals Varsity tallied three runs in the fifth inning. Mark Underwood had an RBI single in the inning to lead the run scoring.

Lukas Buckner went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Farragut Admirals Varsity in hits.
