Farragut defeated West 7-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. The Admirals (15-1, 5-1 D4AAA) scored the big victory without ever scoring many runs in an inning. The most they scored was two in the seventh.
Carson Mitchell took the win. The lefthander lasted 6 innings, allowing 1 hit and no runs while striking out six. Michael Delph threw the 7th inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Farragut tallied one homer and racked up ten hits in the game. Hudson Seigler’s 2-run dinger in the seventh inning provided some much-needed insurance. Tanner Kim and Parker Evans all managed multiple hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity.

The two teams are scheduled to square off again on Thursday night at the Ballpark at Farragut. First pitch is at 6:30.
