In a big District 4AAAA contest on Thursday, April 7, the Admirals and the Bearden Bulldogs squared off at the Ballpark at Farragut. Lukas Buckner got things started for the Admirals in the first inning, with a leadoff, first-pitch solo homer off the scoreboard in right centerfield.

Farragut put up three runs in the fifth inning on Jake Merrick’s 3-run shot over the left field wall.

Braylon Hall led the Admirals to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The pitcher surrendered one run on three hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Stratton Scott threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Scott recorded the last seven outs to earn the save.

Farragut Admirals Varsity racked up nine hits. Mark Underwood, Jett Johnston, and Merrick all managed multiple hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity. Merrick, Johnston, and Underwood each managed two hits to lead Farragut Admirals Varsity.
