The Admirals claimed a huge victory on Monday night at the Ballpark at Farragut, winning 6-2 over the Hardin Valley Hawks. The win propels the Admirals in to Wednesday’s championship game, and in to next week’s Region 2 tournament.

Farragut (22-11-1, 8-2 D4 4A) put up four runs in the sixth inning. Farragut batters contributing to the big inning included Landis Davila, Eli Evans, and Jett Johnston, who all drove in runs.

Stratton Scott led the Farragut Admirals Varsity to victory on the mound. The righthander lasted six innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out five and walking one. Braylon Hall threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Admiral pitchers have surrendered only 1 walk in their 2 District tournament games.

Micah Hoffmeister took the loss for Hardin Valley Academy. The bulldog went five innings, allowing two runs on nine hits, striking out six and walking none.

Johnston, UnderwoodDavilaBuckner, and Evans each managed two hits to lead Farragut.
