The Admirals continued undefeated by taking two more games in the 2021 Demarini Classic tournament. The Admirals currently stand at 11-0 on the young season. Farragut put up five runs in the fourth inning on its way to a 9-1 victory over Science Hill on Friday. 

Farragut got things started in the first inning when an error scored one run for Farragut Admirals Varsity.

Farragut scored five runs in the fourth inning. Burkey had an RBI single in the inning to lead the run scoring. Tanner Kim and Angus Pence also drove in runs.

Carson Mitchell was the winning pitcher for Farragut Admirals Varsity. The lefthander surrendered no runs on two hits over five innings, striking out 11. Kaleb Toon threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Admirals totaled ten hits. Hudson Seigler, Eli Evans, Angus Pence, and Parker Evans all managed multiple hits.

In the day’s second game, Tanner Kim was an RBI machine, driving in five on three hits to lead Farragut  past Upperman 10-2. Kim drove in runs on a double in the second and a 3-run home run in the fourth.

Farragut fired up the offense in the second inning. Garrett Brewer’s sac fly scored the Admirals first run.

Farragut notched five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Frankie Musco, the home run by Kim, and a double by Landis Davila.

Michael Delph got the win for Farragut. Delph surrendered two runs on five hits over four innings, striking out three. Brennon Seigler and Braylon Hall entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Farragut saw the ball well today, racking up 14 hits in the game. Bryce Burkey, Kim, Musco, Jaxson Pease, and Davila each collected multiple hits..
