Farragut defeated Pigeon Forge 1-0 on Thursday in the nightcap game of the 2022 Throwback Games, as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. 

The pitching was strong on both sides. Farragut (18-10-1, 8-2 D4 4A) pitchers struck out eight, while Pigeon Forge pitchers sat down six.

Stratton Scott pitched a gem off the mound in leading the Admirals to the win. The righty lasted six innings, allowing three hits and no runs while striking out eight. Evans threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen and recorded the last three outs to earn the save.

Dylan Loy started the game for Pigeon Forge. The bulldog allowed seven hits and no runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking none.

Farragut racked up ten hits in the game. Garrett Brewer, Mark Underwood, and Jett Johnston each managed multiple hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity.
