Michael Delph had all the right stuff on Friday for Farragut, shutting out the Hendersonville Commandos by a score of 5-0. The win marks the third consecutive shutout by the Admirals. Further, Delph limited the Commandos to only one hit, struck out 13, and surrendered no walks.
Farragut Admirals (20-5, 5-3 D4 4A) fired up the offense in the first inning when the Admirals scored one run when Eli Evans singled.
The Admirals notched three runs in the fourth inning. Farragut scored its runs on a single by Landis Davila.
Farragut tallied six hits. Merrick and Evans each managed two hits to lead Farragut Admirals.
