The Admirals took the lead late in the game in a 5-2 victory over Heritage on Monday at the Ballpark at Farragut. The game was tied at two with Farragut batting in the bottom of the fifth when Brennon Seigler’s sac fly drove in the go-ahead run. The Admirals added on later in the sixth inning on Michael Delph’s RBI single and Mark Underwood’s RBI fielder’s choice.
Farragut (10-7, 4-0 D4AAAA) evened things up at two in the bottom of the third inning. Landis Davila’s sac fly scored Lukas Buckner, who had tripled into the right field corner.
Jaxson Pease took the win for Farragut Admirals Varsity. Pease went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out nine.
Lukas Buckner led Farragut Admirals Varsity with three hits in four at bats. Farragut Admirals Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field.
