Both teams were strong on the hill Monday, but the Admirals (18-1, 7-1 D4AAA) hung on to defeat Lenoir City 3-2.  Jaxson Pease went the distance to win for the Admirals on the hill, scattering seven hits by Lenoir City. The righthander allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out 13.

Lenoir City took the early lead with a single run in the first inning.

Bryce Burkey’s two-run homer to center field in the third inning gave the Admirals the lead. Brennon Seigler’s triple to right field proved to be the winning hit. That base hit drove in Hudson Seigler who had previously singled.

Hudson Seigler went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Farragut Admirals Varsity in hits.

The Admirals are schedule to host the Heritage Moutaineers at the Ballpark at Farragut, 6:30pm on Wednesday. The 5Star Preps/Scott Dean Memorial Tournament begins on Thursday.
