Tanner Kim was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Saturday in the 2021 Demarini Classic Tournament, driving in five on three hits to lead Farragut (12-0) past Rossford (OH) 12-2. Kim drove in runs on a grand slam in the third and a double in the fourth.

In the bottom of the first inning, Farragut tied things up at two when Landis Davila’s sac fly scored one run.

Farragut pulled away for good when Bryce Burkey’s sac fly drove in one run in the second inning. .

The Admirals seized control when they notched six runs in the third inning. Brennon Seigler, Kim, and Angus Pence powered the big inning with RBIs.

Jake Wurms was the winning pitcher for Farragut. Wurms went four innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one. Tyler Fishback threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Farragut hit two home runs on the day. Kim had a dinger in the third inning. Pence had a long ball in the third inning.

Farragut racked up 13 hits. Burkey, Kim, and Jake Dallas all managed multiple hits.
