Stratton Scott was brilliant on the hill on Monday, throwing a no-hitter to lead Farragut past Heritage Varsity Mountaineers 12-0. The righty lasted five innings, pitched to one batter over the minimum (walk) and had 6Ks on 56 pitches.

The Admirals secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the fourth inning.  Farragut Admirals offense in the inning was led by Jake Merrick, Jett Johnston, Charlie Bozeman, Cooper Schulze, Lukas Buckner, and  Brennon Seigler, all driving in runs in the inning.

Dylan Varitek was on the pitcher’s mound for Heritage Varsity Mountaineers. The pitcher surrendered seven runs on nine hits over three innings, striking out two.  Tate Townsend threw one inning out of the bullpen.

Farragut Admirals racked up 14 hits in the game.  Schulze, Landis Davila, Eli Evans, Buckner, and Merrick all managed multiple hits for Farragut Admirals.  Davila and Schulze all had three hits to lead Farragut Admirals.  

The Admirals return to the Ballpark at Farragut on Wednesday at 6:30, hosting the Bearden Bulldogs, in a District 4-4A battle.
