Mark Underwood had the hot hand on Wednesday, tallying four hits and leading Farragut to a 11-3 victory over Maryville. Underwood singled in the second, third, fifth, and seventh inning.

Farragut (11-7, 5-0 D4AAAA) opened up scoring in the first inning.  Landis Davila’s triple drove in Brennon Seigler, who had singled. Jett Johnston’s RBI groundout scored Davila for the early lead the Admirals would not relinquish

Farragut tallied four runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught was led by Lukas Buckner, Davila, and Jett Johnston, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Johnston was the winning pitcher for Farragut. Johnston allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out four and walking one. Stratton Scott and Eli Miller entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Farragut Admirals Varsity tallied 15 hits on the day. Underwood, Buckner, Davila, Garrett Brewer, and Brennon Seigler all managed multiple hits.
