Farragut lost a hotly contested 4-3 game in seven innings on Monday at Catholic after surrending the lead in the sixth inning.  Kearney got the win for Catholic . He tossed one inning of shutout ball, striking out one, walking none, and gave up no hits.

Ben Rutter took the loss for Farragut Admirals Varsity.  In his one inning of work, he walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.

Farragut Admirals Varsity jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the second. The Farragut Admirals Varsity attack began with a single from Cole Morgan.  Sam Schulze‘s double then moved Cole from first to third.  Schulze later scored on an RBI single by Gabe  Waldrop.

Catholic  pushed across one run in both the third inning and the sixth. In the third, Catholic  scored on an RBI double by Reed, bringing home Harrison.

The game’s last lead went to Catholic  thanks to a sixth inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an RBI single by Fitzgerald.
