Farragut Admirals beat Orange Lutheran Varsity Lancers (CA) 5-4 on Saturday in the Admirals’ final game in the Hoover Buccaneer Classic.
Stratton Scott got the win for Farragut (11-3, 1-1 D4 4A). The righty allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out three. Jett Johnston threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Jake Merrick, Gavin Brewer, Brennon Seigler, Lukas Buckner, and Mark Underwood all had one hit to lead Farragut Admirals.
The Admirals return to Knoxville next week with important District 4 4A games against rival Bearden and Maryville on Monday and Wednesday. Both games are on the road.
