Farragut JV grabbed an early lead on its way to a 15-5 victory over Lenoir City on Wednesday. Farragut JV scored on a home run by Nick Barnes, a groundout by Cooper Mashburn, a fielder’s choice by Zane Jessee, a single by Alex Au, and a single by Keito Muto in the first inning.

Lenoir City scored three runs in the third inning, but Farragut  still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Lenoir City came thanks to a error and a walk by Drew Ward.

Farragut  captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Nick Barnes drove in two runs when he homered.

Caylon Scholem earned the win for Farragut JV. He threw three innings, allowing five runs, four hits, and striking out four.

Home runs for Farragut JV came when Barnes homered in the first inning and Tanner Corum homered in the second inning.

Evan McFerran and Barnes each drove in two runs to lead Farragut.
