In the first game Farragut JV defeated Jefferson County JV 11-1 thanks to a strong start. Farragut  took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.

Farragut JV took an early lead in the first inning. A wild pitch by Brody Moore scored one run for Farragut JV.

Farragut JV scored four runs in the fourth inning. Farragut JV‘s big inning was driven by a single by Tanner Corum, a double by Tyler Petterson, and a passed ball.

Mason Schuermann earned the win for Farragut JV. He threw four innings, allowing one run, one hit, striking out five, and walking one. Moore took the loss for Jefferson County JV. He went two innings, allowing five runs, two hits, and striking out four.

Farragut JV had seven hits in the game. Zane Jessee and Petterson each collected multiple hits for Farragut JV. Petterson and Jessee each collected two hits to lead Farragut JV. Carter Gillette led Farragut JV with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.

Tanner Atkins led Jefferson County JV with one hit in one at bats. Jefferson County JV was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Tanner Woods made the most plays with seven.

 

In the second game, Farragut defeated Jefferson County JV 5-2 thanks to a strong start. Farragut JV scored on a double by Zane Jessee and a single by Tanner Corum in the first inning.

Farragut JV took an early lead in the first inning. Farragut JV scored one run when Zane Jessee doubled with zero outs in the first inning.

Tyler Petterson earned the win for Farragut JV. He threw three innings, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, striking out four, and walking one. #2 took the loss for Jefferson County JV. He tossed five innings, giving up five runs, ten hits, and striking out four.

Matthew Delph started the game for Farragut JV. He went two innings, allowing two runs, two hits, and striking out four.

Farragut JV had ten hits in the game. Jessee, Carter Gillette, and Tanner Corum each collected multiple hits for Farragut JV. Jessee led Farragut JV with three hits in three at bats.
