Farragut took the lead late in the game in an 8-7 victory over Chelsea Varsity Hornets on Friday in the Hoover Buccaneer Classic in Hoover, AL. The Admirals trailed 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning when an error scored two runs.

Bats blistered as Farragut Admirals (10-3, 1-1 D4 4A) collected eight hits and Chelsea Varsity Hornets tallied six in the high-scoring game.

Brodie Roberts toed the rubber for the Admirals. The pitcher allowed four hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out three. Cole Draper pitched the last 3 innings, only surrendering 2 hits over that stretch, earning the win.

Farragut Admirals had eight hits in the game.  Eli Evans and Lukas Buckner all collected multiple hits for Farragut Admirals.
